As the market continues to expand in the network, bandwidth andaccess requirements become a major factor which restricts the developmentof networks. Fiber to the home (FTTH) access network by virtue of theirgreat advantages of optical communications has become an importantdirection of development and construction of a country. FTTH can provideusers with a very big bandwidth. It is an ideal access network technology andmarks a new generation of broadband networks. Its aim is to achieve theintegration of the TV, telephone and Internet networks.Using cross-order theory to produce array waveguide grating (AWG) makesthe device having small size and large bandwidth. To use the spectrumperiodicity of AWG making the first wavelength to propagate between thesecond and the third wavelength channel at a different diffraction order.Which is mapped to the first wavelength is named dummy wavelength and itis almost equal intervals to the second and the third wavelength channel. Itnot only improves the diffraction order but also enlargers channel wavelengthspacing. It solves the problems of difficult design, size being too large, nothaving enough bandwidth, crafting difficult and so on.SU-8polymer as the waveguide core has a good transmittance and stability. The device haves a high refractivity between the SU-8waveguide core andthe SiO2substrate, while the directly using air as the cover layer. This makesthe device fabrication process becoming very simple. It only need to useultraviolet lithography technology instead of using additional etchingtechniques. This paper firstly introduces cyclic Triplexer spectral characteristics. Then itgives design steps and the structural layout of a cross-order Triplexer. Thenusing the beam propagation method to simulate the Triplexer. Besides thepaper gives the Triplexer simulation and analyzes results. Experiments arecarried out in a dust free room. It verifies the feasibility of this new technique. Finally a test is carried out on the optical test platform and test results show that at each wavelength channel TE/TM polarization wavelength shifts (PD)are about4nm, polarization dependent loss (PDL) is less than3dB, and thecrosstalk of adjacent channel is about-15dB.
