Research On The Headline Works Of The "People’s Literature" In The New Period (1976-1989)

As the country’s most senior literature journals,"the People’s Literature" was Founded in1949, within the first Chairman Mao’s wish "appearing more and better product". Differentfrom the "Wenyi Bao", which was paid attention on the policy and ideology of Literary, andliterature criticism, the "People’s Literature" has been published in various literary works, itschief editor is mostly famous writers, such as Mao Dun, Ai Qing, Ding Ling. Further, manywriters may be overnight success through publishing works in it, such as Wang Meng, ZongPu, Liu Xinwu, etc. Therefore publishing their works in the journal of the "People’sLiterature" is a dream of many writers, and it is extremely difficult to publish in the headlines.As a special speech role, the headlines of the "People’s Literature " has its special significanceand value. So it is meaningful and necessary to analysis of "the People’s Literature" headlineworks deeply, it can be able to dig up more neglected commonality and the truth, and canpeep literary ethos to a period of time, but also provide a paradigm for literary journal editor.This paper is consist of three parts. The first part is the statistical analysis on theheadline works of the "People’s Literature". The statistical analysis include three aspects: firstis the analysis on the types of headlines, it includes single headlines, double headlines andcombination headlines. Second is the genre analysis, the change of the genre is from politicalgenre works to literature genre. Thirdly is the composition of writers, the writer mainlycompose of new writers, and old is complementary. The first part of the paper is mainlybased on data statistics, and text interpretation Supplemented. The second part is analysis onediting strategy of the headline works. The People’s Literature works has dozens of article ineach issue, so which one can stand out? The editorial obviously has its own consideration.Through the analysis, the author found that there are at least five priority situation: Politicalpriority strategy; New writer priority strategy; Time works priority strategy; Readers prioritystrategy; Features work priority strategy. But these five strategies were changed with thechange of the Times. The third part is analysis on characteristic of the headline works. Theauthor divided the new period (1976-1989) into three stages according to different timeperiod, in the three stages, the headline works of "People’s Literature" have their unique style.
