The Issues And Strategies For Fair Use Of Public Libraries’ Inforation Resources In China

With the rapid development of information technology, information has become theessential resource in human work, study and life. Information rich and the information poorappearance is due human information literacy, economic strength and social environment.Andthe information gap between them gradually increases.China’s comprehensive national is strength, in our daily life,our public library informationresources unfairness were uncommon. The issue of information fairness has became animportant factor affecting all aspects of human life, work, study, etc..The Public Library as a nonprofit cultural institutions are fulled by government, which isdetermined by the nature of Public Library–nonprofit. The Public libraries are important inthe dissemination of knowledge, bridging the digital divide.This paper summarizes previous profound theoretical and practical basis, introduces themeaning and purpose of public library information resource fair question, summarizesresearch status of the problem, so that readers can have a detailed understanding of theissue.This paper describes three problems that affect public library information resource fairuse-the government problems, public libraries problems and the library users problems.Based on the affcet of the three major problems, we address the impact of proposedconstructive ideas to solve the equitable utilization of public library information resources,andexplore the library of information resources to achieve equitable access strategy.Makingcontributions to bridge the digital divide and achieve equitable use of public libraryinformation resources.
