With the increasingly widespread application of torus worm, detection of the torusworm processing and manufacturing precision becomes increasingly important.Due to thecomplexity of torus worm tooth profile error, each tooth of the characteristic parameters isdifferent, so the detection of torus worm processing and manufacturing precision is morecomplicated.Currently, the torus worm tooth shape detection is mainly based on theprinciple of prefabricated detection (detection status is consistent with processing status) orjudging processing result by observing the tooth contact spots. Incomplete testing platformcan not achieve the overall detection systems is also included, especially PC interfacedesign and development.Research and design of the torus worm processing andmanufacturing precision detection system proposed by author solves the problems.Torus worm manufacturing precision detection system breakthrough the detectionconcept, measured as a pure worm geometry, placed in the spatial coordinate systemconstructed for testing. the test results obtained with the theoretical model comparison ofdetected errors.In the actual detection process, the worm to be measured in a state of activemovement, and the test control system based on trigger signal in the follow-up state.Mathematical model and space coordinate system is built based on torus worm drivecharacteristics and gear meshing principle.Entire detection system includes mechanicalplatform construction, the hardware circuit design, lower machine and superordinationmachine debugging.Full closed-loop position control system is built by high precisiongrating ruler as the feedback element and stepper motor.The design of hardware circuit andthe lower machine is completed with floating point arithmetic unit,high frequency,richperipherals and ARM Cortex-M4core STM32F407chip as the main controller.The PCfriendly human-computer interaction interface design is completed by using LABVIEWvirtual instrument software visualization graphical interface programming language.Through experimental verification, hardware printed circuit board of the torus wormprocessing accuracy detection system through debugging and each module implementsrealize the corresponding function. Place machine and superordination machine softwareare compiled through, realize the mutual communication. The repetitive positioningaccuracy of step motor is achieved after laser interferometer calibration and controller errorcompensation.Measured location information of the tested worm,rotary turntable and inductive micrometer head is obtained based on established models and spatial coordinates.Helix errors of tested worm is achieved through fitting processing.The whole test prototypethrough the preliminary acceptance of authority in mechanical field.
