Minimum Coupling Loss (MCL) method is a common method of studying interference and protection. MCL calculation, which is the minimum coupling loss is based on the idea of accounting the isolation between the interfering source system and the system interfered to receive in accordance with the indicators which match the agreement. According to the isolation requirements, calculating the separating distance with the relationship of antennas’location between the interfering source and the system interfered and the line-of-sight mode under specific scene. The interference resulted from same-address construction sites of different mobile-communication system is overcome in project mainly by maintaining adequate spatial segregation (horizontal, vertical or T-isolation),using the terrain features rationally or using the isolation block board, as well as adjusting the launch angle or horizontal-orient angle of antenna between the antennas of the systems. The main interference between GSM900and WCDMA systems, GSM1800and WCDMA systems, as well as CDMA lx (800MHz) and WCDMA systems during the main site of the construction are spurious interference and obstructive interference, the calculation antenna isolation distance and isolation can be calculated by MCL. Interference is overcome by calculating the antennas’vertical separation between the WCDMA antennas and other systems. In addition, the choice of BS antennas, as well as the regulation of antenna parameters has a great impact on the wireless network signal quality.
