With the development of electronic commerce, network exhibition emerges as anefficient and low-cost approach for commodities fair. Thus, it is imperative to integratethe network exhibition with traditional exhibitions. However, the information stored inweb sites is infeasible to be shared with traditional exhibitions, which poses a great challenge to the integration. In this paper, we introduce a local lightweight application system that supports thecombination of network exhibition and traditional exhibitions. The introduced systemconsists of two fundamental components: Server and Clientsupport, where the Clientsupport can be installed in resources-limited devices such as mobile phones. In Server-end, MySql is used as data storage device, Spring+Hibernate framework and Java are employed to achieve business logic functions, and Tomcat is adoped as a server. In addition, Server can communicate with electronic commerce web sites for data sharing, which enables to provide services for clients. Client-end is developed by using Android development technology and provides six major functions including program management, exhibitor management, exhibit management, message processing, virtual discussionroom management as well as calendar alarm reminder, which provide users with support for organizing and participating in exhibition.Extensive tests have been implemented to demonstrate the stability and significance of the introduced system. |
