With the rapid development of software industry, more and more workflow related products come into our sight. With the ability of shorten the distance between business people and developers, the workflow products reduced the communication costs. So, the workflow technology highly praised by the people in the software fields. And, once the information system came into use, the information that the company needs maybe change. The workflow that flexibly designed can undertake the changes quickly.In the paper, author chooses Activiti5system as development framework and design the system of asset examination and approval which is a project of company A. Firstly, author gets to know the components and operating principles of workflow system by reading workflow related documents. Building the evaluation system and evaluating the flexibility of the Activiti framework and a traditional development framework, then choosing Activiti as the system’s development framework. Secondly, using BPMN2.0to capture the business process that investigated in several school and make the process a flexible one. Lastly, coding to complete the system. The system can quickly response to the changes of enterprise environment. So from the point of view, the system reduces maintenance cost of the company, and, at the same time, increases the possibility of success of information system implementation.
