Mobile learning platform is an emerging learning methods which is of good future prospects and approaches, based on this emerging education approach, how to apply mobile learning in logistics management professionals training is the main contents in this paper. Cmbined with author’s work and taking online education majored in logistics management as the background, a mobile learning system for the professional training is designed and implemented, which can run on particular handheld device for distance and continuing education for the logistics industry learning. It is also can be used in logistics management majors in universities as an useful teaching aids.Main contents of this paper is divided into six parts background, main technical requirements analysis, general design, detail design and system implementation.Specific work are summarized as the following five aspects:1) Summarization of history and development status of mobile learning; Characteristics,the demand and current status for logistics professional training are also analyzed.2) Theory and technology based mobile learning platform built are introduced from social learning to mobile learning; mobile learning concepts and features, as well as domestic and foreign research status are expressed in detail; At the same time, key technologies of the platform, and system structure, service level and technical level of the cloud computing are presented also.3) Requirements analysis for mobile learning platform system is introduced in following aspects:background of the overall demand for mobile learning platform, mobile learning platform user requirement and mobile learning platform functional requirements; process analysis of mobile learning system; principles of system design.4) General design of the mobile learning platform, including function decomposition, user model design, general technical architecture design.5) Based on general design scheme, detailed design is proposed.6) Implementation of mobile learning platform, including information portal, a single point of authentication, my course, my Senate, profile, student community and information center and many other functions are implemented.Apply mobile technology and mobile learning concepts in the field of modern distance education as a new mode of learning and training of professionals in logistics management. And combination of the mobile learning information technology, multimedia technology, network technology and mobile technology, innovation to achieve a implementation of hardware and software platforms.
