With the development of social production and people’s life demand for coal, coal production on the efficiency of the increasingly high demand, fully mechanized mining face equipment installation and withdraw is a important link. At present, research on installation and withdraw equipment domestic and international for fully mechanized face equipment is less, causing downhole equipment installation cycle is long, manpower, material consumption, there are many safe hidden trouble, etc.. The relatively slow development, so research on the installation of fully-mechanized mining face retracement equipment-manipulator arm is very necessary.The single-arm manipulator as the research object, studied the structure of key parts. First of all, to study the overall mechanical structure of the manipulator arm, introduces the composition of the manipulator arm structure, working principle, and then the key components: the manipulator arm telescopic arm, hydraulic cylinder, lift hook, chain and some connecting parts of the structure analysis, normal analysis of mechanics, to check the stiffness, strength and stability.Next, using the Pro/E software, parts modeling of the manipulator arm, and the key machine parts and virtual assembly, static analysis of the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench, and the extraction of key components are obtained through modal analysis check; natural frequency of single arm manipulator, determine whether the design is reasonable.
