Tape, which has high mechanical efficiency, flexibility and low coast as a transmissioncomponent, has been widely used in automotive, electronics, instrumentation and other products.Vulcanization is the most important part in tape production, and it determines the mechanicalproperty, life&cost of the tape. As computer technology, control technology and sensortechnology rapid development, the tape vulcanizing equipment has developed from relay onmanual operate in usual to today’s intelligent curing equipment. However, the auxiliaryequipments of the smart curing equipment didn’t have a corresponding development, whichhindered the tape vulcanizing efficiency’s further enhance.In this paper, an auxiliary equipment of intelligent curing equipment-a tape vulcanizingtank hoisting manipulator, which referenced on relevant literature about lifting equipment, isresearched. And the tape vulcanizing hoisting manipulator’s key technologies are analysis:(1) Structural design and finite element analysis: Firstly, there are two precepts of thetape vulcanizing tank hoisting manipulator are compared and the second precept is chosen. Thetape vulcanizing tank hoisting manipulator’s3D model is established in ProE. ProE is a3Dmechanical design software. Secondly, the tape vulcanizing tank hoisting manipulator’s finiteelement analysis is calculated in ANSYS Workbench, and its static character, modal&harmonic character is found, which laid foundation for the hoisting manipulator’s optimizationand determine the parameters of its control system.(2) Control System Design: considering the lifting robot’s working environment, theprogrammable logic controller (PLC), which have anti-interference ability, stable and reliableperformance, is chosen as its core control component of the control system. And the tapevulcanizing tank hoisting manipulator’s PLC program, control cabinet&human interactiveinterface is designed.(3) Information integration: It can achieve linkage production when the hoistingmanipulator’s action information integrated with the vulcanization workshop monitoringsystems. The host computer can monitor lifting robot’s action process, therefore, the "islands ofinformation" which existences in the vulcanization workshop is Eliminated, and the tapeproduction efficiency improved again.
