The subject comes from a certain type of information centers aerologicalsounding receiving antenna detection system reconstruction project.The rise ofhigh-altitude meteorological background and living with war background. The high-altitude meteorological antenna is the key to high-altitudemeteorological and bottlenecks.Currently altitude meteorological antenna main reflector antenna is used,although with higher gain, but to deal with the increasingly complex pattern of waris particularly inadequate. In this case, the array antenna has become the bestalternatives and candidates. The greatest feature of the array antenna is high gainantenna sidelobe some small pattern symmetry is good, some is circularly polarized,easy communication implemented.Firstly, this paper describes the high-altitude meteorological context, follow-upand introduces the basic principles and the main parameters of the antenna. They areevaluated antenna radiation performance indicators and basis.Secondly, the introduction of the helical antenna radiation characteristics,through a single axial mode helical antenna simulation and design, and graduallyfind the influence of various parameters of the helical antenna radiationcharacteristics.
