Phased array radar can be regarded as a key of success or failure in the future war,and among them are the phased array radar antenna part of the eyes and ears, over theyears gradually put forward higher requirements on the miniaturization,integration.Especially in LTCC technology line gradually mature today, the phasedarray antenna and the combination of LTCC technology has become a mainstreamresearch direction now.In this paper, under the above background, beginning from the requirements ofproject indicators, the overall train of thought on the basis of from the dielectricsubstrate, making mature after, then transplanted into the LTCC process conditions.Thework of this paper is mainly divided into two aspects, and the third chapter is thecircular polarization antenna array, the fourth chapter is the line polarization antennaarray and array antenna base on LTCC substrate.In terms of circular polarization antenna array, we put forward two kinds ofdifferent forms to realize circular polarization scheme, at the same time, the twoschemes respectively made a number of different patch array antenna.These twoschemes respectively have different characteristics, the first on the basis of thetraditional rectangular patch unit, made a2x2,4x4, two forms of antenna, which needto use all the SMT units feed network implementation phase of the request, and so on,can be seen from the test data, this approach is easier to achieve the goal of high gain,but on the impedance bandwidth and axial ratio effect is not very good, so we suggestanother way of realization of circular polarization, the use of four rotating patch for a setof incentives from the field implementation of broaden the circular polarization Angle,can be seen from the results of the tests, As15dB gain indicators to meet the requestneeds to a large area, but the axial ratio than the basic is less than3dB thisimplementation scheme at the expense of part of the good circular polarization gaineffect is the premise of the far field, therefore, we need to further optimize the solution.In terms of polarization antenna array, we design a4x4double array antenna, theuse of the air layer between the two layers of patches to increase gain far field, and got very good validation, all parameters measured results meets our requirements,4x4array antenna gain of16.5dB.Before using sequence mature line polarization scheme,we designed and produced based on LTCC technology2x2line polarization antennaarray, in laminated, isostatic pressing, sintering, such as silk screen printing process,finally to make the finished product is tested, but the effect is not satisfactory, still needsfurther grasp the technological conditions in the later work, improve the technology.
