The main function of a certain same frequency passive receiver is phasedetection and demodulation, which plays an important role in a certain armament.Many parameters should be tested on same frequency passive receiver during itsdevelopment and production. Traditionally, these tests are done by human, whichtakes much time and introduces errors when the operator makes mistake. To makethis test quicker and more accurate, this article introduce the auto test system forthe same frequency passive receiver.This article puts forward the design based on the requirements for the test ofthe same frequency passive receiver, and it includes hardware design and softwaredesign. The hardware design mainly includes the power supply design, thegeneration of stimulating and controlling signals, the selection of measuringinstruments and the measurements of the output signals. The software designmainly includes the interface design, the partition of the project, the auto test flowdesign, the operation of the database and the export of the reports.The hardware design mainly contains the CPCI board cards and thehigh-precision voltage acquisition design. The CPCI board cards mainly containsthe following functions:(1) the positive and negative power supply and thevoltage and current monitoring module;(2) the generation of controlling signalswhich includes the logic and analog voltage;(3) acquisition of the output signals;(4) the controlling of the local oscillator, attenuator and the measuring instruments.The high-precision voltage acquisition module mainly contains the following parts:(1) the noise analysis of different chips,(2) low noise chips selection,(3) thedesign of the calibration method and the verification method.The software design is based on the LabWindows/CVI which provides theprogramming of the driver for the CPCI module using the VISA. The multi-threadand asynchronous timer are used to realize the auto test program running at thebackground and the refreshing of the interface at specific time. Access database isused to store the data which can be exported to word report using the ActiveX. The auto test system can accomplish the requirements for the test of the samefrequency passive receiver after the field testing.
