Antennas are an indispensable part of modern wireless communication systems,and the antenna types are increasing and their functions are becoming more sophisticated.Higher requirements on the performance of antennas have been proposed.Especially,the emergence of various types of microwave and millimeter-wave antennas requires more accurate antenna test equipment to evaluate the antenna performance.The degree of automation,test efficiency and test accuracy of the antenna measurment system are the key factors to authenticate the performance of the system,which are the main problems to be solved in the system design process.In order to meet the needs of antenna testing,based on the understanding of antenna testing theory,three different kind of antenna testing systems have been designed and experimentally verified.This work is focused on improving system test accuracy in terms of system hardware and software processes.The final design results can meet the antenna testing needs well,laying a practical foundation for the research of high-precision antenna testing system.The main research work is as follows:1.Open-loop antenna far-field test system based on position passive receiving mode.Based on the open-loop control mode of the stepping motor in the existing hardware system,we discuss the feasibility of the position passive receiving mode in realizing the system synchronization.In order to meet the needs of different test occasions,the system test scheme is improved,and two optional system test schemes are realized.The system application software basically meets the test requirements.2.Open-loop antenna plane near-field test system based on position active inquiry mode.Synchronization between different modules of the planar near-field test system is realized by active inquiry,ensuring the accuracy of system mechanical movement and data acquisition.The system data processing capability is improved by using hybrid programming method.The system application software satisfies the demand of the antenna plane near-field test system.3.High-precision antenna far-field test system based on pulse trigger and closed-loop control technology.In order to solve the synchronization problem of the antenna test system,a high-precision antenna far-field test system based on synchronous pulse trigger and closedloop control technology is studied,which improves the system performance in terms of the system hardware composition and application software.This system greatly improves the positioning accuracy and data acquisition response,which satisfies the testing requirements of the millimeter wave antenna.
