With the depth development of human to the Marine, large-scale offshore engineeringhas a thriving development. Large crane ship as an indispensable engineering ship, is anessential tool for offshore loading and unloading, port construction and various offshoreplatform construction and erection. With the continuous development of shipping industry,shipbuilding industry development trend on the rise, corresponding to the demand offloating crane also increase gradually. But the modern ship is more and more high to therequirement of equipment, especially for floating crane,should be work with highefficiency, easy to operate and reliable operation, especially to the ocean sea, requirementsfor cranes have a good operating characteristics.Therefore,it is of great significance tostrengthen the research of crane control system.This topic is based on2500t crane ship engineering project and items to the crane shipcrane control system as the object of study, combined with frequency conversion speedregulating technology, PLC control technology and PROFIBUS field-bus technology, makea further study on the crane control system. Crane control system adopts the distributedcontrol mode, which uses PLC CPU centralized control and management, through thedistributed I/O and communication adapter to exchange data with the remote input andoutput module and inverter. Crane operator in the control room by manipulating the controlsystem to achieve the lifting crane control, crane operation status display, and faultdiagnosis.System adopts distributed fieldbus structure,the control part adopts SIEMENS S7400series products, to implement the logic control,safety protection and chain,as well as faultdiagnosis and condition monitoring,etc.Between the PLC and transmission device and theI/O substation by Profibus-DP fieldbus communication.Through the STEP7programmingsoftware for structural design of the system,easy to design,implementation andmaintenance.Between the upper CMS system and PLC using industrial Ethernet tocommunication,and through the configuration software for PC interface design,greatlyimproved the stability and reliability of the system.According to the four montor hoisting mechnism linkage synchronous operation,adopt” PLC+inverter+AC motor+encoder”closed-loop control method, synchronous control system use a master-slave control mode,the encoder signal throughinput to the PLC control system and with variable frequency speed regulating device madeup of closed-loop control system,making the operation of the hoisting mechanism operationmore stable and reliable.Actual results indicate that the crane control system is running well, easy to use, andsatisfy the demands of customers, and improve the control precision of the system, it hascertain reference value.
