With the proliferation of smartphones, touch has been widely used. However, smartphones’ homogenization are aggressively critical, most of them have the sameconfiguration and feature. Manufacturers always talk about the parameter, but goodconfiguration does not guarantee a high level of satisfaction. While using the phonethrough touching process, every user has its own attitude, stuying on user satisfactionhelp figure out the detailed questions. This essay mainly refers to exploratory analysisof the satisfaction in the touching process with smartphone. To elicit elements relatedto the mobile phone touching process, an observation was conducted, using theObject-ancton Interface (OAI) model to analysis. The analyzed data were thenclassified by the keywords appearingin the style guide documents. There were66elicited elements. Those elements were grouped, and each group was named toindicate its own representative characteristic: device, useroperating, user interface, UIinteractions. An elements structure of the smartphone touching interaction processwas formed at the end of the anslysis. Through qualitative and quantitative research tobulid the index system of satisfaction measurement. The method of qualitative studyis user interview, the qualitativeusing metheod is questionnaire, the data analysismethod is the factor analysis method. The index system of satisfaction was built. Itcontains five satisfaction factors, naming cognition support, interaction support, information support, performance support and user support, and19satisfactionprinciples. Through the pairwise comparison, elements tructure components werematched with18satisfaction principles. A checklist amied at evaluating elements’satisfaction was formed. Evaluation questionnaires for each element were derivedfrom the checklist. The satisfaction questionnaire in the touching process withsmartphone was built. Here this essay commences the assessment of the satisfactionwith Xiaomi as the case study. To measure and demonstrate the practical effectivenessof the proposed questionnaire, an experiment was conducted, respectively, withsimulated task scenarios in laboratory. Optimization of the design is introduced basedon the evaluation results of satisfaciton, and further assessment confirms thisoptimization, with improved adoption satisfaction. Hence, it proves the validity andpracticability of the methods and techniques used by this ssay, and offering somereference value to future related research scholars.
