With the popularization of science and technology and the development of the car, thecar makes more of a higher braking performance requirements, anti-lock braking system canautomatically adjust the size of the car’s braking force to prevent wheel lockup car, get themost good braking effect, and to ensure the steering stability of the vehicle. Currently, theABS in the actual product, the control strategy is used in many of the threshold logic, butthe threshold value is obtained through a large number of experiments. In the control process,the deceleration of the vehicle to the slip rate and the threshold value, the control process isbased on an unknown quantity calculation, calculation of the wheel speed in general, butaccording to the estimated value of the vehicle control, the actual results are usuallycontrolled deviation, has a great influence on the control results.This article first introduces the development of the ABS technology, car against holdingthe composition of braking system and its working principle, which focus on the logicthreshold control and PID control. Simulation in the process of the brake is analyzed theinfluence of various parameters on the braking performance and its evaluation index, thispaper introduces the PID control logic and algorithm of automobile brake system, establishedthe automobile ABS dynamics simulation model of single wheel model. Respectively adoptedfor automobile ABS control by logic threshold method and a simulation model of singlewheel to wheel slip rate is the object of control in PID control algorithm, a simulation modelof single wheel and through two different simulation models in different adhesion coefficientof road surface, adopted the logic threshold control simulation model of vehicle velocity, sliprate, the relationship between the braking distance and time relation curve and thecorresponding PID algorithm of vehicle velocity, slip rate, braking distance and timerelationship graph comparison, by comparing two different control algorithm of curve, theeffectiveness of the proposed PID controller are verified. Finally the experimental simulationresults are given, and through the high adhesion coefficient road with low adhesioncoefficient of road surface analysis of simulation results, and verified the PID controlalgorithm to control the effectiveness of the automobile slip ratio.
