To the car, the quality of fuel atomization directly influence the emission and economy,so it is particularly important to study atomization quality of fuel. The main method aboutthe current study of atomization of the fuel quality is experiment,this paper mainly introducesthe flash photography, then introduces the particle measurement system developed byChang’an University professor Jian Linsha.Spray image filtering system is mainly to dealwith a large number of spray image obtain in experiment processing, to provide the qualitymeets the requirements of the spray images for the particle measurement system.Firstly, test in progress by using the car with the engine nozzle, high-resolution digitalcamera, hand pressure fuel injection pump and other equipment for spray experiment,shooting the No.0diesel oil in spray field for real-time, obtained a lot of spray images underdifferent conditions.Drawing histogram of different spray image in MATLAB,to find out the characteristicsof histogram of spray image taken under different shooting effect. According to the gray peakfeatures and gray interval realize preliminary selection of the spray image,selection the sprayimage of not contain spray particles and less spray particle.In order to realize the final selection of spray images,the proposed algorithm has Rgb tograyscale, median filtering, average filtering, histogram equalization, Sobel sharpeningalgorithm, Harris feature point extraction algorithm and standard deviation of thesample.Mainly realize the recognition of the spray image pretreatment, spray particle and thespray particle uniformity.According to the result of experiment contrast and speed, finalselection algorithm in test for Rgb to grayscale, median filtering, Sobel sharpening algorithmand sample standard deviation to realize final selection of spray image.Finally, according to the final selection algorithm, designed spray image screeninginterface through MATLAB/GUI,to realize the preliminary screening and final selection ofspray image, display the screening results.
