With the development of biomedical technology, more and more advanced equipmentand instruments have been introduced into the biological science, EEG acquisition andanalysis equipment is such a typical example. Since EEG contains rich brain information, through the collection and analysis of EEG can recognize behavior and then make theappropriate response, which is of great significance for people with disabilities. EEGacquisition and analysis in the diagnosis are widely used, also the EEG can be used forrehabilitation. EEG acquisition and analysis have very good prospects both in the lifescience and industrial technology. Its development progress has far-reaching significance formankind. This thesis describes how to develop a set of EEG acquisition system. First, in the thesiswe introduce the general status of current EEG acquisition. Then we present the frameworkof our system, and gives in-depth analysis on the problems and the technologies under use.We test the function of the system through simulation analysis, and measured signal circuitto verify our design. This thesis is divided into two parts: the first is lower machine design, which is the partof accurate brain waves collection, including brain wave amplification and filtering, alsoconverting the analog signal to digital signal; second is Up machine design, includingman-machine interface and the analysis of EEG processing. This thesis will focus on the firstpart, namely the design of the lower machine. Since the PC software design is more complex,we use the existing laboratory equipment, and after that we improved it to meet ourrequirement. Finally we implemented the communication between the upper and the lowermachine.
