With the development of information technology, software systems play an important rolein the enterprise business process. Although object-oriented development methods are widelyused and the Model View and Control architecture are developed quickly, which can improvethe efficiency and quality of enterprise systems development, there are still some problems. For example, in specific areas, similar business UI is usually developed repeatedly. It cannotsatisfy the ever changeful requirement. People who are familiar with the business are difficultto participate in the development, cross-platform UI requirements etc.Facing to this situation, this paper studies how to describe and abstract the UI of thesystem in specific areas, it models UI as reusable UI components, explores the method ofmodeling the interaction of the UI and how to combine the UI and business functions, andprovides a business-driven secondary development platform for business people to quicklydevelop custom enterprise applications. This paper analyzes the relationship between the user interface and business, defines a UIcomponent model to encapsulate it’s task, call interface, the appearance, interaction and otherinformation, and use XML to describe it. By using a Hierarchical Task Analysis AndDecomposition method to analyze the business task, it presents an abstract composition modelto represent the user interface’s task, data binding and interaction. It designs an user interfaceparsing engine to parse this information, realizes the conversion from abstract compositiondescription of UI to the specific UI. According to the requirement of the UI platform, thispaper uses a message-based mechanisms event engine as the interaction framework, to handlethe interactions between UI and business functions, and the interactions between UIcomponents of the user interface. Finally, according to the requirements of a" InventoryManagement System ", this paper carries out application analysis and model construction, andpreliminary designs and implements a business-driven UI platform. It verifies the rationalityand effectiveness of the proposed model and platform, and conducts a portable test onembedded platform.
