With the continued development of network technology, as well as the rising ofever-changing smart phones, smart appliances, teminals of Internet of Things and Internet ofVehicles, which require vast amounts of IP addresses. IPv6(Internet Protocol version6)provides effective solution. As a new generation of network protocol it will replace IPv4which has already exhausted. Meanwhile wireless network technology is not only a rigiddemand for mobile terminals, but also the future development of network connection. Serviceauto-discovery allows users discovery and use services without any configuration. Therefore,how to achieve services automatically discovery in IPv6wireless personal area networks, howto solve the problem of wireless terminals access network and provide intelligent services andhow to develop a low-cost, low-power wireless terminal application have very importantsignificance and value.This paper study the technology of services automatically discovery in IPv6wirelesspersonal area network and develop terminal equipment based on this technology. This paperanalyzes and compares the current five short-range wireless communication technologies andpropose a low-cost solution of services automatically discovery in IPv6-based wirelesspersonal area network. This paper uses STM32MCU and Wi-Fi module to build low-costmobile network terminal and develops LwUPnP protocol based on IPv6, which solve theproblem of terminal devices access network and provide intelligent services. In order to verifythe solution, we use smart home the popular research area as an entry point and set up anexperimental platform. So far we have achieved WIPv6(Wireless IPv6) lamp, WIPv6TV,WIPv6air condition, WIPv6curtain and WIPv6musicbox. Users can automatically botainand use the services provided by these appliances within the network via smartphones and PCclient. In addition, this paper present an embedded security system to solve the safetyproblems of services automatically discovery, which combined with RSA public keyencryption, AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption, SHA1(Secure Hash Algorithm1) algorithm and black and white lists rules. This security system includes authentication andcommunication encryption and we do some experiments to verify the feasibility of thissolution.This paper has important reference value not only for the research of servicesautomatically discovery in IPv6wireless network, but also for the development of the Internetof Things, smart home and embedded security. The achievements of this paper have been usedin “Open Platform Demonstration Base for Future Internet Application” of the Ministry ofEducation and the effect is good.
