Web-based Online Examination System Design And Implementation

With the development of information technology,network-based examinationhas become a modern examination of the important characteristics.The traditionalnetwork examination system most of the work in the C/S mode,with thecharacteristics of stable and fast,but the system is too complicated to install anduse,not easy to operate. Web-based online examination system has many characters，such as: openning、distributed nature of the examination made a breakthrough in timeand space constraints, particularly in the scores of objective and fair assessment.Therefore,Web-based online examination system is becoming one of the hotresearch in the current examination system.Due to the complexity of the system, our system focus on the questionslibrary management,random algorithm and so on.Our system used.NET technology,use three-tier architecture to design, use SQL Server2005as its database,allowingthe system to have better reliability and enforceability,and has some practical value toachieve the network examinations.In this paper, the design of the online examination system has manyadvantages,such as general, good scalability and security, and easy to maintain, etc. Itcan meet the current demand for online examination in our institute.
