| With the development of information technology and internet, systems with lotsof information about clients and transactions, commodity retailing industry, telecomindustry and financial services industry for example, make full use of data mining.However, the technology of data mining is not frequently used in healthcare industry,especially in electronic prescription system.Data stored in information system of medical industry experiences a geometricincrease, and it requires a solution to retrieve from an ocean of prescription datauseful drug-therapy pattern for exchange and unreasonable drug-therapy pattern andcharge mode for hospital management and control of administrative departments andrelated authorities.In the dissertation, the technology of data mining is applied to the processing ofclinical data from a small hospital’s outpatient prescription system in order to finduseful knowledge or application model to enhance clinical diagnosis and treatmentskills and improve hospital management skills. After analyzing businesses and data ofoutpatient prescription system, preprocessing of medical data and management data iscarried out, and apriori algorithm is adopted to analyze prescription data whileK-means to data collected by different departments. At last, the dissertation drawsconclusions as follows:1. By preprocessing data from different dimensions, the ability to findassociation rules hugely improved, and intelligibility and applicability of the rules areraised as well.2. It is fast to retrieve useful drug-therapy pattern for exchange and unreasonabledrug-therapy pattern and charge mode from an ocean of prescription data. 3. K-means could be used in a variety of hospital data reports to find differentobjective classification methods and improve hospital management. |
