In the active decoys deception jamming conditions, the study of ballistic target andactive decoy identification methods has become a common concern of the currentacademia. And one of the basic radar target electromagnetic scattering properties ispolarization characteristic. Perception of target polarization characteristics is thefoundation of ballistic target and active decoy identification; it is the key to the successof anti-missile defense system. Ballistic missile attack and defense is the background forthis paper, based on darkroom measurement data, ballistic target full-polarization radarecho simulation software has been designed, the dynamic polarization characteristics ofmidcourse target and active decoys jamming are studied. And on this basis, activedecoys polarization discrimination algorithm based on full-polarimetric measurementsystem has been designed, and conducts the simulation verification test. The detailedcontents of this paper include:In the aspect of radar echoes models of midcourse target, Aim at problems ofthe dynamic full-polarization radar echo of the missile target acquisition, based on thestatic full-polarization darkroom measurement data of midcourse target, obtain thetarget’s motion information through computer simulation, and get the target’s dynamicfull-polarization radar echo using Triangulation with Linear Interpolation. And on thisbasis, ballistic target full-polarization radar echo simulation software has been designed.After that we generate the midcourse target dynamic full-polarization radar echoes ofthe giving situation;In the aspect of dynamic polarization characteristic analysis of midcoursetarget, Aim at problems of ballistic target’s dynamic polarization characteristic analysis,the impacts of radar parameters and target parameters on typical polarization featureparameters of midcourse radar target are focused on, such as polarization invariant,polarization dependencies, polarization ratio of co-polarization and so on. And thequalitative and quantitative descriptions from different sides to dynamic polarizationcharacteristics of the ballistic target are made.In the aspect of active decoys jamming polarization characteristic anddiscrimination, aim at full-polarimetric system radar, run an extended analysis ofactive decoys jamming polarization characteristic, and receive signal model offull-polarization radar system has been given. Dynamic full-polarization radar echo ofactive decoys jamming simulation software has been programmed. Sequentialpolarization discrimination algorithm of active-decoy is designed, which based onfull-polarimetric measurement system, and conducts the simulation verification test.
