With the development of the Internet, Web service becomes one of the mostpromising Web-based applications integrating technology in recent years. Web serviceis accessing models based on the Internet, which enables clients make use of theservices deployed by the service providers.Web service has a cross-platform, cross-language and service-oriented applicationand integration of superiority because of it is based on open standards, However, webservices applications did not expect optimistic widespread. The critical reason is thelack of web service management. This thesis mainly researches on the key technologiesfor Web service management of validity based on extended UDDI.Because the current WSDL and UDDI could not support description of QoSattributes of Web service. This thesis also presents a framework which based on thecurrent UDDI data model and specification that use an external database to support QoSmechanism, and to support service registration and discovery based on QoS of service,so as to increase the satisfactory and accuracy of service discovery and meet all kinds ofrequirement of clients. The open Web service environment leads to the actual QoS values from thedeclared QoS values, so this thesis proposes an approach to evaluate QoS of servicebased on society-compute. This approach evaluates the actual QoS values of servicethrough the information of every role in Web service. As the development of the Web service, there are more and more servicesemerging in internet and there are some correlations among the services. This thesisproposes a Web service relation mining algorithm, which is based on the calculationmethod for semantic distance, to discover cooperation and competition relations amongthe services. The relations mined among services can provide a basis for themanagement of Web services and reduce the difficulty of service composition anddiscovery in the future research.
