In the optimal design of modern communication, sonar, secure communications,data compression, image coding and electronic countermeasures system, the research anddesign of optimal discrete signal play a very important role. So it has a very importantsignificance that to design the optimal discrete signal with better performance, whether intheory or in practical application.In this thesis, base on the shift sequence, interleaving and Glay inverse mapping, weconstructed binary and quaternary zero correlation zone periodic complementarysequence pairs(ZPCSP) sets, also constructed zero-correlation zone and low-correlationzone punctured sequence pairs sets. Includes the following aspects:First, the construction method of binary ZCZ periodic complementary sequencepairs sets is studied. Based on binary periodic complementary sequence pairs sets, weconstructed binary zero correlation zone periodic complementary sequence pairs(ZPCSP)sets. The resultant binary ZPCSP sets were constructed by the interleaving and shiftsequences. This kind of ZPCSP sets can be divided into several groups, between differentgroups have ideal complementary nature.Secondly, the construction methods of quaternary ZCZ periodic complementarysequence pairs sets are studied. With selecting different basic sequences, using theinverse Gray mapping and shift sequences, we construct a plurality of quaternary ZCZsequence pairs sets. And two of these methods, which based on binary periodiccomplementary sequence pairs sets, their zero correlation zone length is flexible set.Finally, the construction methods of zero-correlation zone(ZCZ) and low-correlationzone(LCZ) punctured sequence pairs sets are studied. By selecting pseudorandompunctured sequence pairs and optimal punctured sequence pairs, and by using theinterleaving technique and shift sequences, we constructed ZCZ and LCZ puncturedsequence pairs sets. These results’ low correlation zone or zero correlation zone lengthcan be set flexibly.
