The perfect discrete signal is widely used in modern communications, radar, signalprocessing and its design plays a critical role in optimal design of these systems. As thepopular communication system of the3rd Generation Telecommunication, CDMAcommunication system makes use of spreading sequence with good correlation propertiesto decrease various interference of the system and increase performance and capacity ofthe system.Thereforce, the design method of sequence has important research value andsignificance.In view of scholars,basic conception of sequence and sequence pairs, this paperdoes some research in the methods to construct quaternary sequence pairs set on the basisof the research of binary and ternary constructions of sequence and sequence pairs set.The main work is just as following:Firstly, this paper presents a new construction of quaternary ZCZ sequence pairs setwith flexible parameters. Based on concepts of ZCZ sequence pairs set and incombination with Gray mapping and lemma, this paper proposes a design of quaternarysequence pairs set with flexible parameters such as sequence pairs number and length ofZCZ, based on perfect binary sequence pairs with period N Ld rand periodN2Ld.Secondly, this paper regards binary sequence pair with two-level autocorrelation asinitial sequence pairs and constructs a class of shift sequence set. Though differentshifting of sequence, it designs a kind of quaternary LCZ sequence pairs set with flexibleparameters such as length of LCZ and sequence pairs size in a certain range; this paperalso presents another construction of quaternary LCZ sequence pairs set with the sameparameters based on binary LCZ sequence pairs set and inverse Gray mapping andlemma.Finally, a construction of quaternary ZCZ array pairs set is proposed. Making use ofbinary two-dimensional and optimal array pairs and shift sequence set with flexibleparameters, this paper designs multiple quaternary two-dimensional ZCZ array pairs set. The rectangular zero-correlation zone of array pair achieves maximum value in rows orin columns. The account of array pair meets the demand of theoretical bound.
