Squeezed state is an important source to achieve the quantum information techniqueand the high precision measurement, and the optical parametric process which ispumped by the pulse laser is the effective way to produce squeezed state. This thesisis focused on the study of the noise characters of the pulsed laser using by thehome-made homodyne detection system, because this noise characters will effect thecompression of the squeezed state. The main contents include the following threeparts:1. A system of balanced homodyne detection has been designed and made. In thissystem, the AC component of the photocurrent is coupled by a transformer, and thedetection reduces the effect of the beat of pulsed laser by low pass filter before thesignal is amplified by low noise amplifier. The results demonstrate a high SNRdetection system.2. By using this detection system we designed, we measure the noise of twopulsed lasers. Analysis of the intensity noise of these two lasers and the shot noiselimited has been given. The results show that this detection system fits themeasurement of the noise of the mode-locked pulsed laser.3. The experiment of the noise eater to pulsed laser using positive electro-opticfeed forward is given. The results conceal our noise eater system suppresses theintensity noise of the mode-locked pulsed laser from6to10MHz.
