On the basis of learning the concepts and technical principles of the SpaceInformation Network, the LEO satellite and the GEO satellite are analyzed and thedouble layered network is proposed. Considering the geographical area of China,some simulation is made for the constellation coverage rate of China. According tothe simulation results, the basic parameters of LEO satellite and GEO satellite aredesigned, the system architecture for the Space Information Network is proposed.After analyzing the Manet routing protocols and comparing satellite nodes andground nodes, some problems are discovered, that is satellite nodes move faster, thedelay is longer, the life time of links is short. So a Dynamic source routing protocol isfit for the Space Information Network. After that,some simulation is conducted forDSR in the SIN. The results say that the routing traffic is large, especially the routingdiscovery traffic, the life time of link is short, the routing link is not stable, theprobability of link congest is high.On count of the problems mentioned above, a satellite self-organized routingprotocol is proposed. It consists of two parts, one is single path algorithm, the otherone is multipath algorithm. In the single path algorithm,the process of routingdiscovery is optimized, so the routing traffic can be lighter. The orbit cache routemakes the discovery time shorter; The multipath algorithm, multipath search,multipath selection and multipath weighting allocation are designed. In order to makethe end-to-end delay jitter be small,the delay is set to be the main criteria of themultipath selection. In order to ensure the life time of the links is longer, the numberof inter-orbit satellite is set to be the main criteria of multipath weight distribution,because it is related to the lifetime and the stability.The simulation results show that the satellite self-organized routing protocol isbetter than DSR, because the routing discovery traffic is lower, the lifetime of links islonger, the links are more stable. In some ways the multipath algorithm is better thanthe single path algorithm, because the probability of link congest is lower, the queuingtime is shorter, the deliver ratio declines slower with the growth of traffic.
