With the development of the digital progress, the technology of digital image has been widely risen in many fields. We need a basic knowledge of the relevant aspects of the image to understand. After the digital camera shooting, we need to modify and process the digital image shooting, and finally make it into photographic works. A variety of equipment and technical conditions, which the digital image process in later stage requires, constitute a digital photographic post-processing system. Digital photographic post-processing system consists of digital image input digital image processing and digital image output. The picture shooted by digital camera is stored internally in digital image form, in the digital camera memory, memory card or mobile memory. Only through the USB connecting line to connect the digital camera (or mobile memory) and the computer together, the image data of video can be directly input to the computer and saved by graphical format. At first, the driver software digital camera attached should be installed on the computer when the digital image is input to the computer by digital camera. Then the digital camera is arranged on the playback working state, and the power supply of the digital camera is starting. Finally, computer can start downloading and tuning in the image of digital camera automatically. And at the same time, it stores the photographs to the folder in according with the operating instruction in the dialog box.The paper first discusses the overall design of the high-resolution camera system based on USB3.0, then in-depth study of the sensor module, USB3.0interface control module, application module based on DirectShow, image process algorithms module and so on. The system uses the CMOS sensor MT9P031to capture image data, and sends the data to the USB3.0interface chip,which from CYPRESS Company, then USB3.0interface chip transfers image data to the driver on the PC through bulk transfer mode. Finally, PC driver sends the image data to the AMCAP application to preview, and embedded in the application of the automatic exposure algorithm, automatic white balance algorithm, and uneven illumination correction algorithm. The application can send commands to the USB2.0interface chip to change the camera attributes. The commands send to the USB2.0interface chip through control transfer mode, and then the chip reads or writes the sensor’s registers through I2C interface to achieve the purpose of changing image attributes, make the image meet our needs. In the last of the paper is the system summary and outlook.
