Precision of antenna pedestal shaft include azimuth axis error and elevationaxis perpendicular to the azimuth axis error, and mainly caused by factors such asbearing beats, manufacturing errors and structural deformation. In the same time,high-precision axis error detection technology is the necessary technical resourcesof ensuring high-precision antennas products. Carrying out analysis of axialaccuracy of the antenna pedestal, studying on the reduced design of axis errorstructure, and studying on method of improving the measurement accuracy, canprovide support and experience large high-precision radar antenna-pedestalstructure design. This text carry out analysis and research from three aspects in thisarea:First introduce the antenna pedestal structure design, introduce the shafts of theantenna pedestal structure of the composition and working principle, analyses thereason of axis error and common shortcomings of shaft structure, proposesimproved design of shaft structure in order to reduce shaft error, analysis andcalculate it. Analysis the deficiency of a common axis error detection method,detect data by harmonic analysis method, separate the various types of axis error, inorder to improve the accuracy of detection. Through the analysis of measured data,it is verified the rear axle precision meets the specification requirements.Next introduced the structural topology optimization design method andprinciple, analysis the inadequacy of traditional structural optimal design process,the traditional design process is improved based on topology optimizationtechnology, the typical structural parts of the antenna pedestal is topologyoptimized, get optimized the structure of shape and materials distribution, verify thetopology optimization design process of new antenna pedestal structure design andproject design is feasible. twisted springIntroduces basic concepts of finite element method and modal analysis theory.In order to make the simulation more accurate, use ANSYS Workbench Mechanicalto set up complete antenna FEM model which can be used both in static analysisand modal analysis. Imitate bearings with hinge element, imitate reducers stiffness with twist spring element. Imitate gear mesh stiffness with axial spring element.This model considers both the stiffness of the structure itself, and the stiffness ofthe transmission system. The antenna pedestal was modal and static calculatedbased on this model, and the strength of antenna pedestal structure, stiffness andresonance oscillation under various conditions are got. analyzes the impact on theprecision of antenna pedestal.
