| With the rapid development of industrial automation, automatic detection hasbecome a trend instead of manual work. Operators utilize the automatic testequipment to inspect the appearance defects of products,which will greatly improvethe detection efficiency, and the production efficiency thereby. General productappearance inspection machine based on machine vision came into our life andindustry,with flexibility, scalability. That is greatly adapted to the detection of allwalks of life needs, such as barcode detection, character detection, the appearance ofdefect detection, buttons, pins, sockets, shape detection.At present, the equipment of inspecting general product appearance on themarket is scarcely any. The product on broad is relatively simple framework, whosetesting automation level is not high enough. Some products only develop imageprocessing software. There is few molding equipment adapted to factory automationdetecting. In this project, the status quo at home and abroad and existingdeficiencies for low automated inspection are analyzed. A general product visualinspection machine is successfully developed. In the mechanical system, bearingwidth adjusting mechanism, safety splint agencies, folding clamshell structure,visual system including cameras, lenses, lighting are independently designed. Incontrol systems, the touch screen is replaced by the software. And PLC position iscontrolled via the keyboard. The PC records positions which need to be detected. Inthe width of the drive bearing adjustment mechanism, the dual drive synchronousgantry control method is researched and applied. Two servos drive bearingmechanism at both ends synchronously, which reduces the system vibration, andavoids wire rod wear, the death card, camera shaking. In software algorithm, imageprocessing algorithm integrated by Halcon library is used. Moreover, the softwareinterface is developed. The barcode recognition algorithm of double FOV areresearched and developed independently. After the prototype assembly, a largenumber of experiments show that, the general product visual inspection machine iseasy to operate, with low vibration and high image resolution. Moreover, thebarcode identification precision and accuracy meet industry requirements. On thewhole, this machine can be used in a variety of visual inspection applications, with ahigh degree of automation. Multi locations on detected board can be inspected byone camera. That solves the problem of low level automation in factory, with lowfalse positives, few false negatives, high precision. |
