In the history of communication development, UWB communication systemsbecause of its low power comsumption, good high-bandwidth, security performance, and may other advantages by domestic and foreign researchers’ attention. UWBcommunication system signal transmitter, using a nanosecond or sub-nanosecond timedomain of ultrashort pulses, which is to capture side system receives a signal broughtsome difficulties. Meanwhile, for the purposes of this ultrashort pulse UWBcommunication systems, will be a little bit out of sync between the transmitter and thereceiver a great deal of error for the entire system, for synchronous capture problemswith the system is very important. This paper studies the UWB communication system TDT sync algorithm. First, taditional sync algorithms, analysises and comparied of the advantages anddisadvangtages of each traditional sync algorithm, derived limitaions of each method. Then, PLL sync method, the lead-lag phase locked loop can achieve spread spectrumcommunication system sync, so it migration to UWB communication systems usingSimulink to build the entire system model and analyze the case sync performanceunder the system. Visualize simulation resultes lead-lag phase-locked loop canachieve UWB communication system synchronization, easy operation, low error rate. But on the other hand, modular thinking Simulink enables in-depth study of thelimited system. Finally, this paper will focus on the study of TDT sync algorithm.Discussion TDT sync algorithm under different types depend on the modulation. Inthe course of the study can be found in the classification TDT sync algorithm applesonly to PAM modulation, but does not apply to PPM modulation, and TDT need toimprove. Thus, the lead-lag phase-locked loop to achieve ideological thinking andTDT synchronization algorithm to synchronize the ultra-wideband communicationsystems PPM modulation mode combining the algorithm corresponding improvementachieved by using Matlab simulation programming ideas, finally completed the PPMunder proper communication modulation TDT synchronization algorithm, andanalysis of the system to achieve synchronization performance.
