Abstract/Summary:
3D reconstruction is a research direction of computer vision, and it is widely used inareas such as cultural relics recovery, computer aided medicine, apparatus manufacturing andso on. In3D reconstruction technologies, the technology based on structured light has beenwidely used because it is of no touch, high speed, efficiency and high accuracy.This paper studies the3D reconstruction system based on structured light. The surface ofobject is projected the color stripes structured light, the stripes will have distortion along theups and downs of the object’s surface. The image of modulated light is captured by a camera.After processing of the image by computer, the corresponding relationship is identifiedbetween the projected stripes and distortion stripes. Then based on the parameters of thesystem, the depth information of the object surface is calculated in order to reconstruct the3Dmodel of the object on the basis of the principle of triangulation, the3D reconstruction of theobjects can be easily realized.This paper intensively analyses the coding method that used in3D reconstruction. withthe classification of all the coded patterns, their advantages and disadvantages were presented.The coded pattern based on De Bruijn color stripes structured light was applied in our system.It not only ensures the strong robustness and the high accuracy of this system, but also saves asubstantial amount of time with single image. Based on the stripe matching problem indecoding process, this paper studies a dynamic programming algorithm which calculate theoptimal global matching by a recursive way. Experiment results show that the method caneffectively solve the stripe missing problem and reduce the stripe matching error.So it hashigh correctness rate of matching between corresponding them.Camera and projector calibration is the key technology in the3D reconstruction system.This paper presented steps to compute the inner and outer parameters of the camera and theprojector in detail. The calibration results of the camera and projector are got through systemcalibration experiment. Finally, through the experiment it shows that the3D point cloud of theobject we obtain has high accuracy, which verifies the feasibility of the proposed system.
