Mobile terminals and mobile applications have been widely used nowadays, with therapid development of hardware and wireless communication technology. The mobility,frequent disconnection, long-transaction characteristics of mobile transaction processing aredetermined by the mobile computing environment. Mobile transaction processing model hasto handle these characteristics by proposing corresponding solutions.Extension strategies on KT transaction processing model are presented in this thesis.Tentative transaction mechanism based on the of two-tier replication model is proposed tohandle frequent disconnection characteristic. Setting down the mode options from KT to ST,and adding reserve mode to increase the flexibility of processing long-transaction areproposed to handle long-transaction characteristic.In the specific design of the extended model, thesis introduces the system architecture,illustrates the data structure of transaction state table and the format of log, and shows themobile transaction processing procedure by analyzing a typical example. Moreover, thesisgives the structure of transaction request information, and the methods of processingtransaction with disconnection and handoff.In the study on tentative transaction mechanism, thesis analyzes the probability ofrestarting tentative transaction and the effect of tentative transaction mechanism on time costof mobile transaction processing by using Markov model.In the study on reserve mode, thesis analyzes the effect of reserve mode on the successprobability of mobile transaction processing, and propose a scheduling strategy of reservemode sub transaction.In the design and implementation of mobile transaction processing system, theenvironment, architecture, communication technology of the system based on the extendedmodel are introduced. By testing the system, as running with disconnection and handoffparticularly, the feasibility of model is validated.
