Currently, the simulation shooting training system, which has low-cost training, high safety, highsimulation, is needed by military training of solders and teenagers. The mobile laser targeting systembased on image processing has broad application prospects because of low hardware cost, easyinstallation and maintenance. In order to meet high demand of real-time, accuracy and reliability, thispaper focuses on the key technologies of moving target tracking, laser spot recognition and target ringjudgment. The main research contents are as follows:(1) The requirements of the mobile laser targeting system are analyzed. The system framework,design of software and hardware are given. The workflows of key technologies are described in detail.(2) The moving target tracking technology is studied. For high demand of real-time and accuracy,target tracking is divided into two stages, which are coarse positioning and precise positioning. Thenthe improved particle filter algorithm based on artificial immune fish swarm and the improved GHTalgorithm based on artificial fish swarm are designed. The important density function and re-samplingmethod of particle filter algorithm is improved to ensure continuous target tracking. And the GHTalgorithm is improved to search the accumulator space heuristically, which can reduce the time andspace overhead greatly. Experiments show that the technology meets the high demand of speed andprecision of target tracking, and is stable in complex environments.(3) The laser spot recognition and target ring judgment technology is studied. For thecharacteristic of laser spot recognition in moving background, the laser spot recognition algorithmbased on wavelet transform and weighted center of gravity method is designed. It normalizes thetarget image and uses background subtraction method to remove the target context, and uses wavelettranslate method to suppress background noise, thus the laser spot is positioned to judge whether itscenter in effect region and calculate target ring. Experiments show that the technology can recognizelaser spot and calculate target ring in complex lighting environments quickly and accurately.(4) The mobile laser targeting system is achieved. The main equipments of hardware part areselected suitably. The main functions of software part are described in detail. Finally, the instances ofsystem are given.
