Nowadays,3D films and TVs become more and more popular. However, many people are sufferedby some adverse reactions such as dizziness, dazzle and vomiting after watching3D videos. Theresults show that3D videos will affect the health condition of the audience. In this paper, we designedan integrated system which could real-time detect heart rate, arterial blood oxygen saturation andcerebral blood oxygen saturation at the same time. The variation of blood oxygen and heart rate whilewatching3DTV were measured by this system. Analysis the changes of blood oxygen and heart rate. The conclusion of the paper can provide useful reference for establishing3DTV health assessment inblood oxygen in the future. The main contents and innovation of this paper are as follows:(1) Studying the detection principles of transmissive arterial blood oxygen saturation and reflectivecerebral blood oxygen saturation by Lambert Theorem. we designed and realized an intergratedmeasurement system of oxygen and heart rate based on near-infrared spectrum.(2) Designing the hardware and software of this system. The hardware of this system includesarterial blood oxygen probe, cerebral blood oxygen probe, signal processing circuit, minimum system, power supply circuit, interface circuit. In terms of software, it includes embedded codes in micro-chipand PC software. The embedded codes were written in C language, which collected and processed thedata of blood oxygen and heart rate signal. The PC software, programmed by LabVIEW, sampled thedata of blood oxygen and heart rate to PC, then the data was processed and stored.(3) A calibration experiment was designed for the system and the experiment demonstrated thissystem could measure blood oxygen saturation accurately. The error analysis experimental shows thereliability and accuracy of the system.(4) The variation of blood oxygen and heart rate while watching3DTV were measured by thissystem. The results show that there is no apparent changes of heart rate and arterial blood oxygensaturation. However, cerebral blood oxygen saturation varied a lot while watching3DTV comparedwith that before watching. Analysis the impact between the details of3D videos and cerebral bloodoxygen saturation, the results show that cerebral blood oxygen saturation varied a lot while watchingintense fight scene compared with that watching soft scene.
