For the detect problems actual needs of a airborne radar antenna system, considering environmental, equipment size, power consumption,the field detection, and other special requirements, we use ARM embedded technology as the core, to achieve the purpose of internal and external field automatic detection, to research a portable control and test platform of radar antenna system, thus change the situation that previously test equipment is complicated, bulky and not easy to carry. This article focuses on a study of several key issues that encountered during design of control and test platform of radar antenna system,the article mainly include:(1)Presented an overview research and development situation of embedded test equipment.(2)First, introduce the the overall structure of control and test platform of radar antenna system from perspective of requirements analysis, hardware design, software development.In order to design a portable, high-reliability, high real-time test equipment of a radar antenna system as a starting point, expounded on the advantages of the selected hardware main equipment components and software development platform.(3)For the problems of self-test signal timing control that encountered in the design of platform test interface software, the paper design a piece pulse detection board used to simulate self-test signals and speed signals that required for test of the radar antenna system. Put forward a design of using C8051F206as the core processor and FT245R USB interface chip as a medium of communication of PC S3C6410. Introduce details of realization of the pulse detection board on hardware and software to solve this problem.(4)The software design of platform adopt mixed programming ideas,The test interface software of control and test platform of radar antenna system to achieve control of each underlying hardware board by the dynamic link library of the board that the underlying driver. The author use designed the drivers of pulse detection board as example, describes the platform how to implement a design of dynamic link library under VC++6.0development environment, enabling the control of the upper test interface software to the underlying hardware.(5)The paper adopt the ideas of module partition andsynchronous timer test interface of the control and test platform of radar antenna system in the Lab Windows/ CVI development environment,the designed interactive interface friendly and achieve test process control of the radar antenna system.This article focuses on from the completion of the design of the test interface software as a reference point, to resolve the simulation problems of the self-test signal and speed signals that encountered in the process, and thus expand the research and design of hardware and software of pulse detection board.and designed the DLL of pulse detection board in VC++6.0development environment, After solving the above problems, complement the design of test interface procedures in the Labwindows/CVI platform development platform. Ultimately,a portable control and test platform of radar antenna system that this project designed achieves detection functions of radar antenna system, but also meet the needs of internal and external field testing of the radar antenna.
