Based on the principle of ground penetrating radar system and the characteristics of the soil, a Differentiated Gaussian pulse was chosen to be the antenna emission in one specific condition. A novel absorbing boundary condition, current absorbing boundary condition, is introduced in the paper, which proven a simple construction, explicit conception, easy comprehension method in truncating the computation space. A continuous resistive loading moĉŠ§opole is proved to be the optimum pulse ultra-broadband antenna in the ground penetrating radar system. Finite-Difference Time-Domain method is the preferred method in computing the radiating field. The radiating characteristics of the loaded pulse ultra-broadband monopole antenna are full discussed in the paper.
