Although manufacturing industry plays a vital role in the sustainabledevelopment of our national economy, there exists so many assets’ managerialproblems to seriously restrict the development of its core competitiveness, such as theoutdated management mode and the manual accounting. In order to overcome all thepressures and embrace new challenges in the industry. Using an integration of dataresources and an optimization of companies’ data structure, we can enhance themanagerial capacity, lower the management cost and also facilitate companies’productivity and enhance their competitiveness.For a long time, our large and medium-sized state enterprises have purchasedor customized a large number of information-based products, which cover thefinancial management system, the purchase system, the production managementsystem, patent management system, etc. However, there lacks a unified planning overthe miscellaneous departments and systems of a company. Hence, the variedinformation cannot be shared effectively. Every advanced system becomes an“isolated island“, which greatly hinders the process of a company’s information. Inorder to solve this problem, this thesis presents a total assets-based information modelto effectively organize resources into a restrained scale of a company, also this modelhelps realize integrated sharing without large-scale change of the company’s currentsystem, it enables a consistent understanding among all the information systems.This thesis also develops an analysis towards assets’ total life cycle theory andassets’ general business process. With information modeling theory and method, thistheory put forward the concept of total assets management, which include assets’ totallife cycle management, assets’ total business management and assets’ management ofa certain value or using limit. Also, with a survey of a certain large state enterprise,this thesis sets up a total assets’ information model, and realizes the development ofthe original system, basing on the.net platform. At the meantime, basing on C4.5algorithm and Apriori algorithm, it also puts forward a fault-relative model. Withthese two models in the maintenance module of the original system, it helps to provide a theoretical support to the system as well as an efficiency elevation andpertinence to the maintenance.
