Assemble line balance is one of the important part for production management ofthe manufactory. It’s good for reducing work hours’ losing, improving productiveforces; reducing the quantity of producing products and reducing the risk of stoppingthe production process by improving the rate of assemble line balance.The paper first summarizes and analyses the domestic and overseas method ofstudy assemble line balance issue, and then combines with the IE and GeneticAlgorithm method.The paper trys to use the improved Genetic Algorithm method tosolve the ALBP-2issue. Moreover the method will be applied to our actual productionand get good effects.The paper first introduces the basic concept of the assemble line balance problemand explanes the tools and methods to solve the assemble line balance problem.Onthis basis, the paper analyses the producting situation of the assemble line of Wcompany, and gets dates by the IE method.Next, the paper improving the assembleline based the IE method.However, For thinking about the work processes are morethan80steps, the traditional IE method can not give more balance improving results.The author put forward one method that uses the improved Genetic Algorithm tostudy this problem.The paper uses the MatLab tool to finish the program of the Genetic Algorithmand finished the test and verify by using the famous Jackson balance problem.At last, according to the results of simulation and optimization of the productionline, the result is improved and the analysis of the improved result is made.The paper uses the improved GA method to improve the balance of theproduction line. The result indicate the study is an effective method to solve theoptimum the distribution of resources, improve the efficiency of the production lineand increase the interest of the enterprise.
