With the extensive development of computer science and video technology, videoprocessing technology has been widely used in various fields of consumer electronics,video surveillance, medical imaging and military affairs. Because of the increasinglyhigh demand of video data quality, high resolution and real-time video data is growinglarger. The applied need in the high level medical treatment, the people earthquakerelief conductor system, the police use supervision system, the transportation directssystem etc. continuously raises. Big size and high resolution have already become theinevitable trend of the development of the video processing.This thesis combines currently development present condition and foreground ofthe video processing, analyzes the physically applied need of the engineering item"70inch liquid crystal display monitor with extra large size and ultra-high resolution ", putsforward the design target of the ultra-high resolution video show system: Multi-imagesupervision show mode, can actually show4road appearances, the resolution of eachroad appearance is up to1920×1080, this has huge of applied request in showing greatquantities and actually information of multi-image resolution displays with ultra-highresolution; All hold manifestation mode with ultra-high resolution, the resolution whichoutputs signal at this time is up to3840×2160, put together to connect to all hold amanifestation without sew through4road signals, this has absolute advantage inshowing the electric map etc of ultra-high resolution.This thesis aims at the above design target, gives a solution of the video processingsystem with ultra-high resolution on the foundation combined in the hardware and thesoftware based on FPGA. Three key techniques needed for solving the system design:Firstly, the technique of video picture processing with ultra-high resolution. There is noready-made IC chip of resolution be up to3840×2160in domestic currently. Thethesis puts forward a design project of video processing on FPGA. This is also the pointof the research of this topic. Secondly,the need of ultra-high bandwidth caused by theultra-high resolution. The tallest resolution of the display of this topic research is up to3840×2160.The bandwidth of the video data link is up to3840×2160×24×60≈11.124Gbps. The thesis puts forward a kind of design method of DDR controller based on FPGA,carries out in Verilog-HDL. Thirdly, the technique of multi-image synchronization,According the need of the system and Synchronous Control Principle, it analyzes4images synchronous output’s characters after putting together to connect without sew.The design of multi-image delays has very high difficulty, the delay of top betweenbottom and the delay of right between left. It controls clock mutually with DLL tocontrol the exportation cycle time of4road images, thus carries out synchronously completely.This topic gives the concrete detailed design project after studying these keytechnical foundations, and carries out in Verilog-HDL. It tests the overall systemperformance from the two aspects of hardware and software. Finally, It combinesengineering item"70inch liquid crystal display monitor with extra large size andultra-high resolution " to carry on the identification. The results show that the designproject of the key technique of the topic satisfies the design target completely. Pass bychecking lately, this topic developed the video processing system of ultra-highresolution and multi-image synchronously technique with independent intelligentproperty right. It carried out the innovation of the engineering. It raised the level of thelocal video show system.
