A Location Based Multimedia Information Share System On Smart Phones

Recent years, the boom of smart phones makes them a major access medium forpeople to enjoy the services of computing. These smart phones, which can easily andprecisely determine their locations, also bring the proliferation of location based ser-vices. On the other hand, the Internet has already made multimedia information shar-ing a popular and beloved service. Therefore, combining the location based service,multimedia information sharing and smart phones in ubiquitous computing becomesa signi?cant research issue. As a consequence, this thesis aims to analyze some keyaspectsofrelatedexistingresearchworks, andthengivetheoutlinedesignofalocationbased multimedia information share system on smart phones.In this thesis, we ?rstly investigate two kinds of techniques for client side, whichare localization and location privacy protection. After the analysis of a variety of ex-isting technologies, we ?nd out that the state of art of location privacy protection isnot adequate, so a better mechanism should be designed in our research work. Basedon the analysis, we demonstrate the module division of the client, and also give theoutline design of each module. After that, a new location privacy protection schemewhich named Long-term Consistent Dummy Generation Scheme is detailed, includingrelated models, basic principles, generation algorithms and experimental validation.At last, several kinds of data structures for spatial data management are introduced,and then we give two key designs for the server side, which are data storage design andthe improvement of communication module.
