Currently, electromagnetic emission research is one of the key technologies ofelectromagnetic propulsion test measurement and control system. In this paper, theelectromagnetic emission trajectory based on the research of image processing ispresented, namely, the research of orbital ablation and armature status in the process ofelectromagnetic propulsion. The main content of study included as follow:Firstly, the paper designed a high-speed photography collection system record andanalysis on the external ballistic firing conditions, and successful acquisition to thearmature respectively at low and high speed image sequences. It is because that to acquirethe high-speed ballistic armature image is a very difficulty task from the outsideelectromagnetic propulsion device ISODATA algorithm is used to capture imagesegmentation In order to obtain outside ballistic data accurately. The results of the study ofelectromagnetic propulsion device outside ballistic follow-up study are very important.Secondly, we study the electromagnetic launcher surface damage after several timeslaunching. And, to classify the rail surface damage based on the rail surface morphology.3d data for orbital injury gained by the high resolution laser scanning system designed isanalyzed image processing technology such as fuzzy recognition. Then we deal with thedamage orbit from two aspects of digital image and3d data respectively, based which tocalculate the volume change of injury and to count the quality loss of the work piecematerial.Finally, we try to get the rail damage microscopic morphology and electronic energyspectrum corresponding by the micro area scanning analysis, and then we can obtain theorbital damage mechanism by comprehensive analysis. Analyzing the micro and macroimage of damage, the damage degree of each track damage types is representedclearly.This is helpful to improve the electromagnetic propulsion performance and toimprove the electromagnetic propulsion device accuracy and longevity.
