Design And Implementation Of The Local Area Network Print Management And Monitoring System

As indispensable office equipment and a standard computer output device，printer plays a more and more important role in the era of rapid growth ofinformation. It is not difficult to find that， the number of modern office documentthrough the network is rising at an unprecedented rate， but we still lack of effectivemanagement methods and tools. Once the printer is not properly managed， it canresult in the leak of confidential documents and cause a fatal blow to the company’ssurvival and development.The print output management system we study is to solve the above problems.This paper first analyzes the background of the LAN print system at home andabroad and points out the importance and necessity of the system for enterprises，then we do a detailed needs analysis to our safe， convenient， manageable printoutput management system， we come up with the idea of using client/server alongwith browser/server architecture. Then we introduce a browser plug-indevelopment， image format conversion， SSH framework structure， ADO andODBC related concept， the GDI+， the socket and other key technology， afterthat， we demonstrate the system. At the last of this paper we carry out a summaryand point out the place which can be extended and progress.
