In economic production and social life, the gas-solid two-phase flow systemoccupies an increasingly important position, but it is difficult to detect the flowparameters for complexity and randomness of gas-solid two-phase flow process.Electrostatic method as a kind of detection method has the advantage in price,maintenance, and adaptability; however, with the uneven distribution of sensitivityin space, it is also hard to measure the concentration.The paper takes the Yangliuqing thermal plant as an example, installing theelectrostatic sensors on the two pulverized coal pipes of the B coal mill of No.8unitplant and using COMSOL software, moreover analyzing the sensors’ data.Main work includes the following aspects:According to the structure of the B coal mill of No.8unit plant, designing twoelectrostatic sensors;Designing and installing experiment equipments;After the installation of sensors, in power plant under normal operatingconditions, debugging sensors, using software to collect experimental data;According to the experimental data, the particle velocity sensitivity and spatialdistribution of pulverized coal pipe were studied. Combining with the relatedparameters of boiler combustion, experimental data has been further explored forthe production practice.
