In the earlyresearch and practical test, according to the principle of satellite positioning featuresand the GPS/BD-2positioning method, we selected the GPS/BD-2dual-modereceiver as the location of the system. According to the demand analysis, the study onthe GPS/BD-2integrated receiver, can located and indication the mode, achievethe performance index, and we conduct the hardware design, electromagneticcompatibility design and software design. It combines the GPS/BD-2integratedpositioning receiver and positioning data software b y the ARM embedded system.Finally, with the help of on-line debugging and testing, we analyzed the statisticalinformation and positioning accuracy. At last, after the functional andperformance testing for a long time, we draw the corresponding of conclusion, and theGPS/BD-2receiver has been used in the actual project.In the premise of ensuring the accuracy and reliability, as far as possible to reducethe system cost and complexity, design of a low cost, strong practicability GPS/BD-2dual-mode positioning receiver system. Finally, through the market investigation andthe test, illustrate that the development of the system is not only has the broadapplication prospect in the field of the GPS positioning, but also when the GPS cannot work normally, the BD-2system can achieve localization task. In the near future,the BD-2, as the satellite positioning system in China, will have more stable and broadmarket competitiveness, it will create greater economic and social value.
