The3D object modeling researched in this thesis is main content of Reverseengineering (RE).Reverse engineering is also called inverse engineering, which is the generalname for digital geometrical model reconstruction technology and rapid productmanufacturing technology involved in using3D digital measurement techniques to buildengineering CAD model according to existing product entity when there is no completedesign drawings and no CAD model.It is one current focus of advanced manufacturingtechnology and has good applied prospect in the mould design and manufacturing field.Reverse engineering can systematacially and systematacially get3D data and reconstructmodel from the product entity,which provide technology guarantee for the rapiddevelopment,machining, manufacturing and innovation of product. According to statistics,more than70%of the foreign technology depend on Reverse engineering,and it has becomelink-ties among advanced technologies in the development process of new product andimportant technical means to digest and absorp advanced technology to realize rapidlydeveloping new product.With the development of electronic technology, the application ofDSP processor has replaced the function of the general computer on many occasions for itsadvantages such as small size, speed, portability, etc.3D object modeling need to achieveacquisition and processing of large quantities of data, and introducing DSP processors inobject modeling system will greatly improve modeling speed and precision.This paper mainly studies how to design and build effective3D measurement systemwith DSP as its core to quickly and accurately get3D point cloud data and ultimately achieve3D modeling,which includes measurement system calibration, data acquisition and the pointcloud data processing. Grating projection3D measurement method is used to get3D pointcloud data and build model,and DSP is tried to replace traditional PC software in dataprocessing in3D modeling system so as to get better modeling effect.The main research content and innovative points as follows:(1) Aiming at the situation that Data processing in traditional3D modeling systemalmost all depend on software in PC environment, DSP is tried to used as the core of3Dmeasurement system to mainly work for image data acquisition and data demodulationprocessing, which will achieve higher efficiency. The experimental results show that thesystem has feasibility and researchability.(2) As the keys of3D modeling in Reverse engineering, building3D measurementsystem and system calibration algorithm are studied, and the system model is selected afteranalyzing the old and new system of measurement model.In the OpenCV library of VCenvironment the calibration of the system is realized. (3) After reading a number of literature material and analyzing3D measurementalgorithms in3D modeling system, projection structure light3D measurement algorithm hasbeen researched particularly. And aimed at the characteristics of using DSP processor,the sinegrating projection measurement of the four steps phase shift method and the neighborhoodphase solution package method were summarized and designed to consist of algorithmstructure of the system;...
