Design And Create A Control System Of Automatic Production Line Based On Controllogix

Production line equipments are widely used by enterprises in processing and manufacturing industries, which its control of production has been already developing into automatic control from the early manual operation gradually. The production line itself is becoming a synthesis with mechanical, electronic and computer control together. As the control center of industrial equipment, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is a new kind of industrial automatic control system device integrated these applications developed such as computer technology, automation technology and network communication technology. Almost through half a century, the scale and level have been developed largely on PLC. In the field of industrial automation control, it becomes very important control system equipment. In addition, it has been the first in the four factors of the industrial production automation area. The state of research and application can make a measure to a country’s mark of industrialization level and automation obvious.In order to improve production line equipment and monitor the control net of the production line, this paper will introduce that the ControlLogix5000control system of Rockwell Automation works in the equipment of automatic processing production through the whole design work. It will offer more comprehensive and detailed ideas and design in the process of design. Production line’s control system is the whole system equipment’s core center, which the important work mainly depends on integrated conformity of the programmable logic controller to complete. As well, the administrator’s computer and the operator’s computer should use the configuration software to build HMI to monitor the whole or a part of the system, and make information flow and integrated through the control network.Using ControlLogix control system and network communication technology, PLC can be programmed control and the work situation of production is monitored through network to control the production line by pre-designed program. It is convenient for the user to remote management of production to improve the production efficiency and to save effectively the production cost. If in the working there is equipment failure, lacks of materials, delivery congestion and so on, it can alarm with sound and light, at the same time recording which achieve production reliability stability and efficiency. The operation system has the advantages of simplicity, reliability, and convenient maintenance, which to improve the traditional manufacturing industry effectively. The automatic production line is suitable for automotive industry, electronics industry, food industry, product packaging, and logistics industries, etc.
