With the development of the society and rapid life style, our country is facing more andmore serious problem of aging population, early patient care is very important for heartdisease. So, acquiring physiological parameters and using remote communication technologyto establish remote ECG monitoring system has very important significance.Remote ECG monitoring technology is that via the internet, the collected ECG data inthe clinic or at home is transferred to the hospital care center, and then professional doctorsdiagnose and give suggestions. This article is designed based on the B/S architecture ofremote ECG monitoring system. The system consists of data acquisition equipment, clientsoftware and the hospital terminal software. Users install the ECG data acquisition ActiveXcontrols in the browser which acquires and displays the ECG data. This technique will savetime for patients, alleviate the patient’s mental and economic pressure, while will save the costof the hospital too. It can be used for long time patient care.At first, this article introduces the monitoring system framework, describes why theActiveX technology was used in the B/S architecture, how to register and control ActiveX,then discusses the security of the control and why and how to add a digital signature, andfinally the demand was analysis.Secondly, according to the demand, the three lead equipment was used to acquire ECGdata, ECG data acquisition project was established via Visual Studio2010, the configurationof data acquisition control and the method and content of data acquisition, transmission anddisplay were described. The anti-shake wave form was finished.Then according to the designed system, the user login management, patient user dataacquisition as well as the doctor management software design were completed, the real-timemonitoring of patient ECG data function, uploading the collected data to the server wererealized. Doctors can login in the admin interface, complete functions of patient userregistration, user information management, ECG data consult and other related functions. The design is based on the internet remote ECG monitoring system, acquire and displayECG data real time at home or in community clinics of patient, and transfer the data to thehospital and in the end the doctors diagnose and give advice. Patients can enjoy cheap,efficient, stable remote health care services.
